We're thrilled to announce our partnership with Ftoxins, an authority on natural & organic skincare. Ariane & Delphine are sisters living in London who have a passion for clean living without compromising on quality, organic wine and noughties hip hop.
We've partnered with them to bring you monthly reviews from these experts. Pop on over to ftoxins to learn more about them.
We'll let them take it from here. We hope you love it as much as we do!

"You know we love an independent community; that’s why any time one of our beloved brands gets bought by a huge corporation, we tend to lose interest. It’s not that we suddenly stop loving those products, but we don’t love the processes behind them. These may include parent companies that test on animals, corporations that source ingredients unethically/unsustainably or big names that simply put profits over the wellbeing of the people who work for them and the people they’re selling to.
So, we love anyone that champions independent beauty brands. Enter Showcase Beauty, who we’ve partnered up with, to give you monthly reviews – as well as exclusive discounts – from some of our favourite names.
In true FToxins-fashion, we are being meticulous about the products we choose to cover because we’ll only ever talk about stuff we’d actually use ourselves. In fact, when you shop on Showcase Beauty, you can filter special requirements within each category so you can choose to only see organic products (which is what we do.)
I’ve never used a cleansing melt before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the gel-like coconut oil texture intrigued me. Plus, the organic baobab and vanilla smelt divine. I applied a finger-full and glided it onto my face gently to smoothly get rid of all my makeup and general grime before washing it off with warm water, which created a milk-like consistency that was super easy to rinse off. I’m a convert.
After cleansing, I moved onto the hyaluronic serum that promises to boost collagen synthesis and skin firmness. It went on a dream (I applied it all over my face and neck) and felt so hydrating.
The final step was to apply the face cream, which was rich and creamy without being too thick to apply as a day cream under makeup. Argan oil based, and coconut and vanilla scented, it’s like a summer holiday in a tub. Plus, it leaves your skin feeling super soft.
Full disclosure, I never take baths – so this was a good excuse to add one to my Sunday night routine (which FYI strictly involves no plans or socialising after 6PM).
But, according to Neom, our bodies can absorb minerals in a warm bath even better than if we consume them so a 10-15 minutes soak meant I could feed my body minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron and chloride without even noticing. These bath salts contain 84 minerals and once dry, my skin felt fed and I didn’t even put moisturiser on afterwards as my skin felt soft to touch. Plus, the lavender and jasmine essential oils relaxed me for bedtime.
